Not a huge fan of St. Pat's day.

It's stupid.

It does mark some big things in my life - so we marked those today at work with a 'drink at work day'

I supose - I mean there are some seirous issues linked to the holoday... but no one remembers.

well it seems to be about drinking ... LOL

I don't know why it's so big here - my dad's Mom was Irish (as in form Ireland - he has all the interesting background) and so I wasn't rased to celibrate - it's just a Saints day - and her family had been ex-comunicated.

As far as I can tell it's New Years eve without the nice clothes.

Mind you the Irish have to lowest drinking rate of any of the Northern countrys. Irish Ameriacns report the higest leavel of *compleate* abstanance from drining in he US.

So I don't get why the holiday is linked to drinking...

That's pretty hilarious. People get really caught up in stereotypes.

And anyone I know who's actually Irish hates St. Patrick's day. Go figure.
