I think I may write a fan fic. I hate writing fan fic - it takes time. If it didn't take time I woudln't mind so much. This one may be fun though, I think it will be a Supernatural fan fic.. not very interesteing, but maybe some thing difernt than I normaly write.

I've also decied I need a muse. One I can acess all the time, coyote is to - well he isn't very reliable. I can't figure out how to make myself focuse on what i need to get done. My mind keeps bouncing around.. I get a little bit here and a little bit there, and I can't get back to being productive.

I am very frustrated. I want to have someone (or something) that makes me feel creative. It's not that I feel uncreative or blocked - I have the ideas it's the gettign it on paper part that I can't seem to do. I have all these chericters in my head babbling, but I nver get it down... sigh

if it helps you any, i wrote my *first ever* fan fic for Forever Knight in 1998... five years after FK went off the air. i wrote my first First Wave fanfic during FW's S2.

i hear the character's voices all the time. they're my muses; they tell me what to write. no voices, no fic.

and there was the one time Nick shut up halfway through a fic. i had to force myself to finish it.... and never wrote an FK-canon fic again.

the real problem is my origanal chericters can be very er- forceful. They talk all the time and sometimes all at once - so I'm actively working on 3 fictions with difrent cheicters and they all talk at once. It makes it hard to gat anything on paper *chuckle* also I jsut hurt one of my chericters in one story - and I have trouble with that.

I find fan fiction dificult to write - mostly because, well when I start a ff I useuly end up likeing the OC and want to put them in an origanl work.

I started a Supernatural fic and chucked it - I started the one that ended up beign stuck in my head the other night but I think I'll chuck that one as well.

Sigh*

three fics at once? eek!

my orginal characters don't talk to me. i'm working on an orginal romance novel, and i *know* their story. so i don't hear them as loud.

OCs? i've created my Mayaverse, i have four fics (three done, one in progress.)

but i see your dilemma with creating an OC for a fic and then wanting to put it in an original. :)

whenever you do finish a fic, i can beta is for you. and just a note: i know someone who writes excellent fic who doubts her own work. and the one i had to force finish? others have enjoyed that. :)

well i doubt I'll ever finsih a fan fic (heck I doubt if I'll finish any long origanl fics) would you beta orig stuff? I have quite a bit at Devaint art still (and that's not including the 3 I'm working on now)

One I have to finish for April (for a friends birthday)

One is an attempt at Teen slasher (hard since I hate to hurt my chericters)

and of course the car one (that will be fixed and have soem refrences taken out)

maybe I just have to much on my plate and need to foucus more?

sure, i can take a look at original works, i'm an editor at heart, and my best friend is a red pen. lol.

hmm... maybe if you picked one fic to focus on, it might quiet the other voices until you can finish the piece. i know when i finish a fic, the voices are quiet for me. until something stirs them up again....

see that's my problem - anything can stir them up. Music is particularly a problem for me. I can hear a song on the radio and wirite 50 pages - if I have the time to sit down and do it.

And, of course the gift thing - it's something I have to do. But then the other chericters are at the edges going "you can't just leave me here! I just got hit by a car!"

i find when i'm not writing anything.... not thinking about them stirs the voices in to action.

But then the other chericters are at the edges going "you can't just leave me here! I just got hit by a car!"
...which is why i write one fic at a time :)

I've never been able to do one thing at a time.

Unfortunatly I relized I was writing one chericter to look like Jared - well maybe I'll turn it into a screen play.
